DUDE, WHERE'S THE TRAIL?

For those of you into ultra-marathon scene, be sure to check out this weekend's Dude, Where's the Trail?! This event is created and hosted by the Track Club's own Lou Joline. This 50K trail run takes you around two lakes in Jackson County. If you hit a third lake, you've officially gone off the trail. A 2 Person relay division exists for the less ambitious, as well as a solo 33K distance. Packet pick-up will be Saturday at Fazoli's in Blue Springs from 5 to 7.

The run starts at 8 AM on Sunday.  Event Website | Register Here

TWO RACES LEFT!

There are only two races left in the KCTC Fall Racing Series! If you've participated (run or volunteered for) in any of the 7 events so far - Helen Gold 5K/10K, Smithville Dam 5K/10K, Jared Coones Memorial Pumpkin Run, Bison 50 Relay, Cliff Hanger, Lee's Summit Turkey Trot, or the Gobbler Grind - you are close to winning great prizes from KCTC, whether you realized it or not! All you have to do is sign up online for free (so that we have an address to send your prizes to), and e-mail your race results to our Track Club ambassador at [email protected]. All it takes is three races to make you a winner! They are all looking for volunteer support so you don't even have to run in them!

Here are the remaining qualifying events for the Series:
We hope to see you there!
