FUN AWAITS AT THE RERUN
 Wednesday Night Run is KCTC's long-standing favorite group run that has been going on for over 30 years! Once a year we have a ReRun, a reunion of sorts, to bring everyone back together for a ridiculously good time. In spirit of Wednesday Night Run, we will still have a run of 1-6+ miles, followed by a potluck. KCTC will supply the main dish and you bring the sides/drinks. There will be games, music, child care, and camaraderie galore! This year we will also have a race shirt contest. Bring a race shirt from the oldest event, furthest event, or perhaps just one with the best design and you could win some swag! CALLING NEW RUNNERS
Starting any new habit can be intimidating. However, it's always easier to start in a group setting. KCTC creates that welcoming atmosphere with their Beginning Runner's Class. A new session starts on Monday, September 23rd! It's perfect for those who are new to the running scene or would like to give it a try! Come listen at the feet of the wise Lou Joline as he gives 80 years of expert advice for those just starting out. After each of his humorously beneficial lessons, the group will walk and run a short route near the Ward Parkway Center. The class meets for 10 weeks and works its mileage up a little bit each week. Many graduates have gone on to do big things in life such as half marathons and marathons, and everyone leaves better than they were coming in. Don't be surprised if you get hooked and continue to go to other Track Club group runs after the 10 weeks are up!
All you have do is join the Kansas City Track Club to be a part of the class. All memberships include a free running shirt to get you started, as well as a 20% discount at all Garry Gribble's Running Sports locations! Sign up here!

RUN CLIFF DRIVE
With its breathtaking scenery, rich culture, and stately mansions, the Cliff Hanger 5K & 8K Run/Walk gives participants a rare opportunity to traverse one of Kansas City's most historic areas. Join us on Sunday, November 3rd, for a beautiful run along Cliff Drive! This year the run will start and finish on the campus of our naming sponsor, KCUMB. Also, to allow for a fun, safer, and more competitive event, the 8K run will start at 8 AM and the 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9 AM. Stick around afterwards for a delicious pancake breakfast!
Long sleeve tech shirts, great scenery, pancakes, bib chip timing with live results, fantastic prizes, and more! All for just $25! This race is truly a hidden gem.
