SereniGy Kids Newsletter
2012 Year End Report
Greetings!

As 2012 draws to a close, know that you have helped make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged children attending our orphan school in Kenya this year!

Earlier in the year, we announced a partnership between SereniGy corporate and its IBOs in supporting the foundation's first charitable project in Africa. We are happy to report that this partnership has been a success, as IBOs became child sponsors, made earmarked donations and made general contributions benefiting the kids.

As we enter 2013, SereniGy corporate will continue to provide significant funding and resources to the foundation. Yet our ability to make a meaningful difference in the world ultimately depends on the participation of individuals just like you. SereniGy corporate has invested heavily to structure the foundation as a vehicle for your involvement. We hope you will enter 2013 with a renewed commitment to adopt the foundation's causes as your own. Pooling and focusing our resources is our best hope for making a significant change in the world!

If you haven't visited our web site lately, we hope you will do so now. It describes the many ways that you can get involved and help. For starters, won't you please forward this newsletter to your downline, upline, customers, family & friends? Most people have a heart to help; let's make sure they know how!

Thank you so much for your continuing support. We wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!

Sincerely,

Sam Ciatu

Kenya Orphan School Ends 2012 With Renewed Hope Due To SereniGy
Kids Looking Forward to New School Year in 2013

The 2012 school year in Kenya recently came to a close, and the kids and staff are now on break. The year ended with a renewed sense of hope, as SereniGy's commitment to helping was very evident. In a year-end ceremony, kids, teachers, staff, parents and members of the community expressed appreciation for all that SereniGy had done for the school over the last year.

Looking back at the year, we were able to help in a number of ways. We are now serving more children than ever. Enrollment this year increased to 331 children, with almost a fifth of them considered orphans (though all fortunately now live with families). Orphans are provided full scholarships at our private school, including a daily nutritious lunch. Plus, while other kids pay tuition, it is at a reduced rate due to the subsidy effect of support from SereniGy.

Our school continues to be regarded as one of the superior schools in the area. Our kids continue to rank high in their school district in academics as well as extra-curriculars like soccer and music. Our first graduating class of eighteen 8th-graders (pictured) departs well-equipped to begin their several years of high school boarding school, as is tradition in Kenya.

Various tangible improvements were also made to the school due to SereniGy's generous financial support. Power lines to the school were installed, and electricity is now available in the small administration building and in our two "pre-school" age classrooms. A small library was added. The school now has two laptops with Internet access, as well as a printer/copier machine. Various supplies were provided, including teaching aids, nursery school improvements, kitchen supplies, and soccer and volleyball team uniforms. A generous mid-year bonus was paid to our faithful teachers. Two outside professionals were brought on board--an accountant and a computer expert--laying the groundwork for our future plans for the school and helping assure compliance with various Kenyan government regulations.

Of course, many needs still exist, and we remain committed to doing all we can to help these kids, the staff and the local community.  As we enter 2013, we hope to strengthen the partnership between SereniGy corporate and its IBOs and bring further truth to the statement: TOGETHER, we CAN make a DIFFERENCE!

ORPHAN UPDATE
Calvin
Kenya
CalvinIn our last newsletter, we told you about one of our students at the time, five year old Calvin. Born into poverty, his father had abandoned him and his mother and moved to Nairobi, over four hours away. He was being raised by his maternal grandparents after his mother had to move several hours away in order to find suitable work at a tea plantation. He was on full scholarship at our school. We have learned that Calvin's father has re-enterred his life, and assumed custody and taken him to Nairobi. We don't know what the future holds for little Calvin. But what we do know is that in his time at our school, this little boy received the gift of an improved sense of self-worth due to the love and support of our special teachers and staff. He also received a solid educational foundation, providing him hope for a better future. We made a difference in Calvin's life.

SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM UPDATE
Child Sponsors Make A Special Difference
Sponsorships Remain Available on Our Web Site

Sponsoring a child is not only about providing financial support, it's about establishing a personal and mentoring relationship with your child. Various of our sponsored children were delighted to exchange letters with their sponsor, and some even received small gifts. And the sponsors who took the time to get to know their child can tell you how heart-warming it was to receive the letters, stories and pictures drawn just for them. If you are already a sponsor and wish to learn more about communicating with your child, simply visit the FAQ section of our web site

Our goal remains that every single child at our school receive the love and support of a sponsor from the SereniGy IBO family. As the year draws to a close, won't you consider this small commitment that means so much to the children? Your tax deductible* contribution of just $35 per month can make a tremendous difference in the lives of these poverty stricken children. And the personal relationship you will be able to establish with your sponsored child will be incredibly meaningful to both the child and you. To become a sponsor, simply visit our web site sponsorship page, where you can select a child and begin making a difference!

FUNDRAISING UPDATE
Donors Rise To The Occasion
There's Still Time to Make a Tax Deductible* Year End Donation

Earlier this year, we launched a special ongoing fundraising effort we call the "Super Fundraiser" to address certain key needs at our Kenya orphan school. A portion of our goal was met, and as you can see, the funds were put to good use. But with the school's growth, many needs remain.

Additional funds are needed for the completion of current and additional classrooms, a water well, underground piping, dining hall and kitchen facilities, a playground, and additional educational technology tools. There are other building projects, supply needs, staffing needs, and transportation needs that we will address. Your generous support can truly make a difference in the lives of children by providing a better education, school uniforms, meals, clean water, and many other necessities that we take for granted.

You often hear SereniGy CEO Mr. Noland talk about the concept of volume. Well, this concept applies to support of the foundation as well. For example, if 1000 IBOs were to donate just $10 each, that would bring $10,000 additional dollars for the benefit of our kids! As SereniGy corporate continues to invest heavily into building a solid global business foundation for its IBOs, it becomes even more important for those IBOs to assist the foundation directly in any way they can.

If you were financially blessed this year, we hope you will "pay it forward" with a year-end donation. If your finances remain tight, remember that giving back is an underlying character quality of the most successful people in life. It's even been said, "Those who give first, often receive a blessing before those who wait to be blessed in order to give." In the end, it's all about your heart. Remember, any donation, no matter how small, adds up in making a direct impact in a child's life today!

Please donate now.
