OLUNTEERS NEEDED
 
The Hardee County Ministerial is sponsoring a
Community Thanksgiving Day Meal, at the First United Methodist Church of Wauchula. 

 

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

 

C=Carving turkeys @ 9am (experienced carvers only - bring tools)
H=Helping put turkey in pans, covering pans, & clean up @ 9am
F=Food preparation @ 9am
S=Serving meals at 10:30am
T=Trash detail after meal @ 1:45pm

Free Advent Calendars
 
Last year we held a Free Photo Shoot for all our Adopting and Fostering Families. This year we are providing a Free Advent Orphan Calendar to anyone interested in participating. The Advent Calendar will take you through the month of December where you will LEARN, PRAY & GIVE!

kidsPACK - Hardee Project 
Every other Thursday
Next Packing Date: Oct. 31st and Nov 14th
 
You can volunteer every other Thursday from 5pm - 6pm to help package food for children in the Hardee County School District that have been identified as not receiving food on Saturday & Sundays when they are not in school. We meet at First Christian Church and children as young as 4 years of age can help. You can also sponsor a child by contacting Brandi Maldonado at [email protected] 

Feed 5000 Monthly Feeding
Every 2nd Saturday of the month
Next Feeding Date: Nov. 9th
 
Volunteers deliver meals and share the gospel of Christ to elderly, disabled persons, and families on the second Saturday of each month.

Foster. Orphan. Restoration.
Next Delivery Date: Nov. 9th

A ministry outreach for families or individuals that have added to their dinner table through adoption or foster care. Family style meals are prepared on the 2nd Saturday of every month and delivered directly to the home either pre-cooked and ready to eat or prepared and ready to be frozen for later.

FBCH Annual Diaper Drive
September 24 - November 3

Every month, Florida Baptist Children's Homes and Orphan's Heart use more than 30,000 diapers to meet the needs of the children they serve!

 

Will you help provide diapers for these abused, neglected and abandoned children? On September 24 until Orphan Sunday, which is November 3, help us meet this great need by dropping off diapers at any of the campus locations listed on the flyer or donate toward the diaper fund online at www.FBCHomes.org. 

 

Also through our website, find out how you, your church, or your business could win a FREE mission trip by giving toward this worthy cause!

November 4th at Bayside Community Church

Join Bayside for their 3rd annual event to receive detailed information and connect with Bridge a Life leaders, local Christian adoption agencies/organizations and attorneys, and adoptive parents about the growing need and current status of local and international adoptions. 
 
Special Speakers: * Sharon Bradshaw - adoption social worker and adoptive mom * Luke and April Graham - adoptive parents share their recent adoption experience * Paul Consbruck - adoption attorney and adoptive dad * JJ Brophy fostered/adopted teenager shares his story

FBC County Wide Brotherhood

It will be a great time of Christian fellowship for the men and boys of our county. A wonderful opportunity to share with Christian Brothers about the ministries in your Church and what Jesus is doing in your life.

 

Brother Justin, from New Hope Baptist will lead us in a few songs.Pastor Willie, from Celebration Church, Pastor Randy, of Reality Ranch, and Brother Joel of First Baptist will encourage us with the Word of God.Food and drinks will be provided, as the 4H club will prepare and serve.
