I spent three days last week with about 20 new Business Officers from schools throughout the MISBO region at MISBO's New Business Officer Intensive. It was a great learning experience for everyone. I was reminded many times over those three days about the joys AND challenges of being a business officer at an independent school. I believe that everyone left with a clearer picture of what it means to be a Business Officer. One attendee who just finished her first year...

OverDrive Update
 Thank you to the over 25 schools participating in this shared collection so far. We encourage our member schools to look into the details as this is a wonderful opportunity for your students. The schools who are already using it are providing great summer reading options for their student body.
MISBO member schools may join the shared collection for a $1,000 annual fee. This annual fee provides member schools access to the shared collection of titles available to all participating schools as well as enhancing the choices in the shared collection. To create a distinct collection for your school's students only, in addition to access of the shared collection, your school can sign up for an OverDrive Advantage account.
Many schools have voiced their interest, but now is the time to act and submit your order forms to get the most use from the collection. Please send your inquiries and questions to Dianne Sagaas at diannesagaas@misbo.com.

Electronic Resources
Thank you to all the member schools that have already placed their 2014-2015 school year database orders. Your participation in this program enables us to negotiate valuable discounts for every school. We are still accepting orders through the next volume fee deadline of July 31, 2014. The orders that were placed by May 31st will be invoiced soon.

MISBO Housekeeping
MISBO mailed renewal dues invoices to the primary contact at each member school in May. If your enrollment numbers have changed, please adjust the invoice to your best estimate for the 14-15 school year and return a copy with your payment. We will adjust our records accordingly.
Also, it is the time of year for personnel changes. We ask each school to notify us of any changes in the business office, HR, Technology or Facilities by filling out the member update form below. As we migrate to our new database, having the
most up-to-date information will be critical to our success.
