New Business Officer Intensive
 Are you a new Business Officer? Aspiring Business Officer? Or even a new Head (or know of these changes happening in your school)? Depending on the path taken to arrive in independent schools, there may be many areas of your job that leave question marks over your head. Do you know about current HR regulations? Do you have facilities maintenance in your professional background? Financial Aid? Independent School leaders have a steep learning curve to get up to speed and MISBO can help you get there! Electronic Resources
Don't forget that the first volume fee deadline for electronic resources is May 31, 2014. Orders placed by May 31st will be invoiced in mid-June. The next volume fee deadline after our May deadline is July 31st.

New Vendor - Crescerance
MISBO is pleased to announce our newest vendor - Crescerance. Crescerance has always been focused on enabling schools to better connect and engage their communities via mobile. Crescerance recently launched a program called MAD-learn that is now bringing the mobile focus to the classroom by enabling and teaching students how to create mobile apps.

MISBO Board
Officer Vote
Last Monday (5/12) we sent the Primary Contact at each member school an email that contained a link to vote for our MISBO Board slate of Officers for the 2014-2015 school year.
Twenty percent (20%) of the members of the association are required to form a quorum and a majority of that quorum is needed to approve the proposed slate of Officers.
If you have not yet voted on behalf of your school, please use the link in that email and cast your vote today. If you need the email re-sent please contact Michelle Shea at michelleshea@misbo.com to have the email re-sent.
