From the Executive Director:
As a parent, an educator and the person at my school for many years who was primarily responsible for the safety of the children and adults, the tragic events of last Friday in Newtown, CT hit very close to home. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, those that lost loved ones, but especially those that lost children. This is an unthinkable tragedy and there are no words to express the anguish and grief that we are all feeling, only tears and sorrow.
Even through this difficult time, the coming weeks will be filled with celebrations of many kinds. I will be spending the time with my wife, daughter and extended family. I hope you all have an opportunity to take some time to relax, reflect and rejuvenate.
I wish you all a safe and peaceful holiday.
