Homemade Idaho Toothpaste
I am spending the Winter in western Idaho with my youngest daughter.
Renee makes her own toothpaste and mouthwash. I have heard how good for our teeth and gums Coconut Oil is. This homemade toothpaste is just wonderful to use, and leaves your lips moisturized and teeth clean.
Here's Renee's recipe: (Measurements are approximate and not exact.)
2 TBS Coconut Oil
2 TBS Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
15 drops Peppermint or Tea Tree Essential Oil (or 6 drops of each)
Stir well. That's it. The best part, there's no fluoride! |
