Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Dear Trinity Friends,

First of all, Steve and I want to thank you again for such a warm welcome on Sunday.  In sharing bits and pieces of our story with you during our message, we hope you feel like you are beginning to get to know us and we look forward to getting to know you!  It really is a privilege and joy to get to do so and to serve as two of your pastors.  We are excited and hopeful about this next season in ministry alongside you as together we carry the light of Christ to a world in need of grace and love.

This Sunday, we'll begin a worship series looking at who Jesus Christ is and how he lived among us.  Several times in the Gospel of Luke, people around Jesus were surprised by what he said or did and asked, "Who is this that...?"  Each week we'll take a look at a particular aspect of Jesus' life and ministry, anticipating it will help us to understand who Jesus is and what it means to be a follower of Christ.  The worship series is called, "Who Is This Man?" (also the title of a book by John Ortberg).  At least a couple of small groups/Sunday school classes will be offering the study, Who Is This Man? by Ortberg beginning this week, and if you'd like to participate in one of these groups, please contact Kim Lewerenz.

If you haven't already, be sure to use the postcard enclosed in last Sunday's bulletin to invite someone to worship this week.  Or you may want to extend the invitation to someone who has been a part of Trinity previously, but you haven't seen in a while.  Be sure to offer to pick them up and bring them with you or meet you by the Welcome Center before entering the worship center to sit together.  It always feels better to have a friend in a new place.

As we said on Sunday, we are all clay pots, chipped and cracked.  We are grateful to be carrying this precious treasure of the light of Christ with you.

See you Sunday, if not before!

Grace and Peace,
Catherine
