Worship: Sundays @ 8:15 am, 9:40 am, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Dear Trinity Family,

I think about trees - almost every time I drive onto Trinity's campus - the trees along the East drive that we planted back in 1999 when we first moved in, grown now, trees that the folks who planted them (or helped pay for them) did so knowing they wouldn't be around to sit under them when they were grown. Well, come to think of it, the really big, old trees on our campus were planted by people none of us knew, but who had faith in the future. Trees - they're parables for our life's journey; we're always planting - trees or dreams or seeds of hope for our children or others who will come after us, knowing full well that we will never sit under the trees we plant, but grateful others will.

Which is why Trinity exists, and it's also why the Trinity Foundation is working to increase our Trinity Endowment Fund.  And I really hope as many of you as possible will join us and our friend, Troy Holloway, at noon on Wednesday, April 27, for an hour of inspiration and lunch.  RSVP to Shannon so we can have the right number of lunches.

On a personal note, Jan and I and our families had a great time celebrating (and performing) our niece's wedding in Nashville this past weekend.  And we're happy to be back with you in worship this Sunday - not too many of those left, so we're going to enjoy and appreciate all of them!  See you Sunday.

Love and prayers, Dan

A Message from Rev. Aaron
Email | Blog | Twitter

Friends, it was so good to be away last week with our mission team in Jamaica as we partnered with CSI to build a home for Andrea and her children. I wish you all could have seen her face when she was presented with her house keys and stepped inside for the first time!

It was also very good to come home and join in worship with you on Sunday - to hear the news of Lenora's appointment to Trinity as an associate pastor and to hear her great sermon on trusting God that our lives will be in God's good hands as we faithfully respond to God's calling for our lives. Lenora and I are so grateful for the opportunity to continue living into our calling here at Trinity and for the journey that lies ahead for us all as we seek to grow in faith and build God's kingdom together.

I am looking forward to being back in the chapel tomorrow night for the 6:35 service and will be preaching from Jeremiah 31:31-34 "God's People: Called to Covenant." Hope to see you there.

Grace and peace be with you,
Aaron
