Dear Trinity Family,
Easter is very early this year (March 27), and Palm Sunday is this coming Sunday, March 20. I've appreciated all your Lenten devotionals, and look forward to being with you for all the events of Holy Week at Trinity. The deadline for securing a place at the "Last Supper/Seder Meal" (Maundy Thursday, March 24) is Thursday. Email Alice today for your ticket. Similarly, to place an Easter Lily in honor or memory of someone, email Shannon today or order online.
Tomorrow night we welcome back home to Trinity the Rev. Jane Huffman Pearce. These special reunions with former Trinity colleagues have been wonderful.
Finally, as promised, we want to keep you updated on our Finances at Trinity. Here is our status at the end of February:
- Contributions Anticipated, YTD $578,310
- Contributions Received, YTD $503,042
- Expenditures, YTD $447,875
If you would like to check on your pledge, or would like to see the fuller financial summary that Church Council receives, please feel free to request this from Laura Richardson, our Business Administrator.
Love and prayers, Dan

A Message from Rev. AaronEmail | Blog | TwitterFriends,
Our partnership with Youth Ministry Institute (YMI) in our nationwide search for Trinity's next Director of Student Ministries is off to a great start! The focus group meeting that happened this past Sunday, with the Director of YMI and several students and parents, was very productive and will serve us well in the days ahead. Please pray for the work of our search committee and for the person God will provide as our next Director!
Lenora and I will be co-leading The Marriage Course on Thursday evenings, March 31 to May 19, from 6-8:30pm. You're invited to experience 8 focused-date nights for you and your spouse to enjoy a delicious meal and private conversation - aimed at helping you grow closer together. There is still plenty of availability, so register here today! Cost is $110, and includes all meals and childcare. We are also looking for additional volunteers to help us make this course a life-changing experience for couples. If interested, please let me or Lenora know.Grace and peace be with you,Rev. Aaron

MissionsTed Grueser
- This week's mission box supports PET which stands for Personal Energy Transportation. Most of us never give it a second thought. However, for more than 20,000,000 people in developing countries who are unable to walk, it is a major concern. These individuals have suffered the loss of mobility because of landmine explosions, illness, birth defects, disease, or accidents. The three-wheeled, hand-powered PET wheelchairs, manufactured by PET-Florida (and other PET affiliates), provide a means for these physically challenged individuals to achieve the "gift of mobility". For more information visit their website.
- WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! A community needs your help! April 24-30, Trinity will be taking a team back to El Salvador to drill a well with Living Water. If you are interested in being a part of this great opportunity please contact Ted. There are limited spots available so act fast. There are scholarships available so don't let money stop you from taking advantage of God using you in the world.
- The Adult Spring Appalachia Service Project team, leaving April 30 and returning May 7, is going to Greenville, TN to participate in a New Build (building a new house). There are currently 5 open positions on the team if you are interested in building construction for a needy family. Contact: William Buhi
- The Family Promise 2nd Annual Bed Race will be on April 2 at the Santa Fe College track. Show your support for the Trinity team as they compete to be the fastest bed and to raise the most funds of any team. Your support will make a difference in the lives of homeless children and their families in Alachua county. Be sure to see the bed outside of the Worship Center Sunday. Volunteers will be there to answer questions and accept donations. Checks should be made payable to Family Promise of Gainesville and designated for the Trinity Race Team. Checks may also be left at the desk in the Education Building. Support can also be given online. The four bed pushers and their passenger Princess Leia (aka Lenora Rousseau), need you to come out on April 2 to cheer them on. The race begins at 10am but the beds will be there starting at 8:30. There will be a bounce house, face painting, a parade of beds and fun for all!
- Mark Your Calendars. The Spring Yard Sale will be Saturday, April 2

- The volleyball team that assembled hundreds of Easter Eggs for neighborhood children;
- Volunteers who provide leadership to the Faith Mission youth group and Sunday School classes and other Trinity folk who help provide this group with meals;
- Kids Count, Girl Scout, Greenhouse, and Rawlings staff who are so supportive of the children in the neighborhood; &

On this date in 1869, a small group of women assembled outside the Tremont Methodist Episcopal Church in Boston. There they organized for mission and established the Woman's Foreign Missionary Society, which was a forerunner of the UMW. Nearly 150 years later, the UMW at Trinity are still following this tradition with over 120 active members in many forms of mission. If you are interested in contributing to the Legacy Fund, which is a fund established to support future mission work, all monies donated on the Day of Giving will go to the Legacy Fund.
