Dear Trinity Family,
I leave this Thursday, along with Ted, our Missions Director, to travel back to Lagos, Nigeria, to teach preaching for a week at our partner seminary, West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS). Five years ago we began a relationship with WATS with a group of 17 of us from Trinity. WATS is a large theological seminary in the most populous country in Africa, with the greatest growth in Christianity in the world. WATS is a strategic seminary, and I and Trinity are privileged to be connected with them. The modernization of their library and internet learning is the result of our support. Ted and I will appreciate your prayers. As you know, Trinity is engaged in mission locally, nationally and internationally, even as Jesus commanded: "Go into all the world..."
I'm excited to have our dear friend, Rev. Kandace Brooks, back to preach at our Wednesday night Lenten service this week. Kandace received her call to preach at Trinity; you journeyed with her during her husband, Neil's illness and death, as a most loving community. I'm sure many of you will want to come Wednesday and greet her.
What an excellent team of women we have working on this year's Women's Retreat; they have created an outstanding event that all the women of Trinity will not want to miss - Saturday morning, March 12, with a great "Bible in 100 minutes" the night before. See below for specifics.
Finally, our friend, Troy Holloway (we could never have done financially what we did at Trinity without Troy!) is coming back to Trinity on April 27, for a luncheon presentation. More details to follow, but please save that date!
Love and prayers, Dan

A Message from Rev. Aaron
Email | Blog | TwitterFriends, I am so excited to preach this Sunday: "I AM: The Light Of The World" - John 8:12-20 (CEB). See you in worship! I am also excited that Lenora and I will be co-leading The Marriage Course on Thursday evenings, March 31 - May 19, 6-8:30pm. If there is one thing that 14 years of marriage and 3 children have taught us, it's that a strong, loving, and lifelong relationship takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive. We are always learning ways to make our marriage better. You're invited to experience eight focused-date nights for you and your spouse to enjoy a delicious meal and private conversation - aimed at helping you grow closer together. Register here, cost is $110, and includes all meals and childcare. For more information, contact me or Lenora. And, please, tell your friends! Have a great week! Aaron
