Dear Trinity Family,
You really don't want to miss the Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale this Sunday at the 9:40 and 11:00 services. The Chorale is more than outstanding in quality, inspiration and range of music. Also, our Mission Box this Sunday is to support these students in their University training. For the 8:15 worship service, we are grateful to have our own Rev. Cliff Patrick preaching.
I hope many of you can attend our Trinity Foundation's event on February 3 (Wednesday night at 7pm in room 232: "Leaving a Legacy, Faithful Expressions." It's about our own personal legacies for ourselves, our families and our church. RSVP to Shannon so we can plan for light deserts. Thanks.
And, we need 42 contributions to Trinity's Lenten Devotional booklet. The theme is "How Do I See Jesus?" Please submit to Jim Cook no later than February 1.
Love and prayers, Dan

A Message from Rev. Aaron
Email | Blog | TwitterFriends, A few of you asked about the short verse I used as a prayer at the end of Sunday's sermon. It is Psalm 27:14 (CEB). Here it is again, and I encourage you to use it in your prayer time this week: "Hope in the Lord! Be strong! Let your heart take courage! Hope in the Lord!" The beginning of Lent is less than a month away. To help us prepare for this holy season of the Christian Year that calls us to focus on simple living, prayer, and fasting in order to grow closer to God, last week I began a four-part sermon series on Fasting at the 6:35 service. I am basing my sermons on a Converge Bible study on Fasting. If you are interested, I encourage you consider buying a copy of the book to follow along. See you this Wednesday night in Trinity Chapel for part two! Grace and peace, Aaron
