We Are Never Alone

Scripture: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39

When I think of worship a parallel word that comes to me is gratefulness. I'm taken back to the earliest of stories shared in scripture - the one where God walks and talks in the garden with those created, Adam and Eve, who represent the first of all of humanity. Delightful life, easy life, sheltered life, nave, uncomplicated life.

A life that is gone - is no more?

Not according to ancient scripture and modern creed. God still walks with those created and always will - WE ARE NEVER ALONE.

Sometimes there are no words to adequately describe our conversations with God. Our sense of grateful worship takes us from words to feeling. We are given the gift of companionship so intimate and comforting and strengthening that we know beyond explanation life is holy. We are allowed to share life blessed by the Holy One.

When we embrace that our lives are just as connected to God as those lives in scripture, we begin to experience what worship means each day, each
minute - NOW!

Prayer: Thank you dear God, for always being there for us. Amen.
