Some Day

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city.  On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month.  And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations (Revelation 22: 1 - 2).

What a glorious vision!  The tree of life, bearing abundant crops, a cornucopia of fruit - what a picture of Thanksgiving.  And the "leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations."  Oh, how God must long for the healing of His world!  This Thanksgiving, will you pray even more earnestly for the healing of the nations, for abundance for all, for the Kingdom of God that Jesus proclaimed to become a reality, and for you and me to be a part of helping make it happen in how we live, in what we say, in how we serve and love.

Love and prayers, Dan
