Worship: Sundays @ 8:15 am, 9:40 am, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Dear Trinity,

You are invited, encouraged and welcomed to attend this year's Annual Church Conference.  It will be in our Trinity Chapel, this coming Monday evening, November 23 at 7:00.  Our District Superintendent, Rev. Sue Haupert-Johnson will be leading and will discuss our upcoming pastoral leadership transition, and answer any questions you might have.  And, by the way, since some of you have asked, here is a "save-the-date" of Saturday evening, June 4 - Trinity's retirement party for Jan and me; we would love it if you can join us!

We are grateful as your "estimate of giving" cards continue to come in.  We received one from a former member of Trinity who lives in England and watches our services regularly through our "live streaming;" thank God for our video folks!  Please mail or bring yours in ASAP.  The thermometer below shows our progress toward our goal.

Love and prayers,
Dan

A Message from Rev. Aaron

Friends,
A few things this week:
  • A reminder - there will be no 6:35 service in the Chapel on Wednesday. Instead, we will be meeting for our Thanksgiving potluck in the Atrium. Bring a dish and join us!
  • There is still time to register for this Saturday's "Fresh Expressions Vision Day," happening from 9:30 to 3:30. Fresh Expressions is a movement that is cultivating new kinds of church alongside existing congregations in order to reach a changing world.  At its heart, Fresh Expressions is about empowering and equipping God's people to develop creative expressions of church that can reach the increasing diversity of our post-Christian society. Because of Bishop Ken Carter's enthusiasm for Fresh Expressions, and through support from the Florida Conference, the discounted cost for this event is only $10 (includes lunch and materials). It's going to be a great event! Register here and if you have any questions, please email me.
  • I'd like to thank Russ Crowder and Dave Yonutas for taking the photographs for our 2015 Fall Focus on Generosity this past Sunday. The prints will be on a table in the back of the Worship Center for you to pick up this Sunday.
Grace and peace be with you,
Rev. Aaron

  • This week's mission box supports the community Thanksgiving Basket program.  This will be Trinity's 9th year coordinating the donations and distribution of 1,500 Thanksgiving meals, however, this program only works when the whole community participates! So grab a flyer on Sunday or print one out. Put up a donation box at work, your community center, with your scouting or Rotary group, everywhere. Grocery gift cards or cash donations work as well. If you'd like to volunteer with sorting, packing or distribution please sign up here. We are also accepting online donations (select Thanksgiving Food Baskets from the drop down menu).
  • Potatoes for Promise will resume on December 1st. Happy Thanksgiving!
