Now more than ever, in a culture where often enormous amounts of money, empty fame, and cynicism have become toxic dominant values, our children need us to support their quest for a spiritually grounded life at every age - and to discover or strengthen our own.

Think of almost any "reality TV" show - and you get "empty fame."  So much of our culture is of this empty character; all the more reason to encourage our children's spiritual development, which is so central to a healthy, thriving life.
