Dear Friends,
By now you have probably seen the news (sad, for us!) from Trinity's own Josh Fuller, announcing that he is leaving Trinity to take a newly formed job at The Village. Josh's reputation is well known around our community, so it isn't surprising that a larger organization would come after Josh; he is known far and wide for amazing hospitality, fine touches to everything, seeing what no one else sees, and making Trinity's grounds and buildings the best they can possibly be. All the organizations in our city which use Trinity's facilities love Josh, as do all of you, the members of Trinity. Josh's handprints are on all that's good about our facilities.
We are hosting a reception for Josh this Sunday after the 9:40/middle service - at 10:40 in Trinity's Atrium. I know you will want to stop by with hugs and well wishes for Josh. There will be a basket for any cards and gifts of appreciation you might want to pass along to Josh as he moves on to the next chapter of his life. Josh, you're The Best!
On a different note, if you enjoy outstanding, really fine music, you will want to go to First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville this coming Tuesday, March 3 to hear one of the finest a cappella Choirs in the entire country: The Concordia Choir of Moorhead, Minnesota. And, here is really good news: all donations will benefit Family Promise (formerly known as IHN), which provides housing and rehabilitation for homeless children and their families in our area.
And one more item: A Bible Study, led by new member and fellow United Methodist Minister from the Philippines, Marvin Celso, Life Changing Gathering will resume on Wednesday, March 4th, 6:00 pm in room E225. And we will study the book "EMOTIONS: Confront the lies. Conquer the truth." by Charles F. Stanley as our material.
Be sure to come by this Sunday to give your greetings to our beloved Josh Fuller.
