Worship: Sundays @ 8:15 am, 9:40 am, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm | Fridays @ 7:00 pm
Dear Friends,

I'm very excited about our Lenten Journey together as we seek to "Share in the Steps of Jesus" - first in the Potter's House, inviting God to shape us more fully into Christ's image, then this past Sunday, embracing our "branding" of service as, with Jesus, we took the towel and basin and washed one another's feet or hands in worship.  This coming Sunday we enter the Upper Room with Jesus and his disciples for the Passover Meal; it will be a most moving and powerful service.  And, we have a gift for each of you:  a small, olive wood communion cup from Israel! You won't want to miss our time of worship together.

Now, on a very different note

Several of you have asked me, "What can we do to help those Christian brothers and sisters who are being persecuted in the Middle East and Africa; is there a place we can send money for relief aid?"  Yes!  Send your checks to Trinity and mark them "Aid for Persecuted Brothers and Sisters" - we will work with UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to bring as much aid as possible. Thanks and God bless.

Also, if you've never had a "thorough look around Trinity" you will want to join the "Trinity Tour" that begins its inaugural run on Sunday, March 15 at 11:00 in front of the Worship Center.  We have an amazing campus; here's your chance to get to know it well.  We hope to offer these once a month, so if you can't do it on the 15th, look for future opportunities.

Finally, the Concordia Choir of Moorhead, Minnesota will be performing a benefit concert tonight at 7:30 at First Presbyterian to support Gainesville Family Promise (formerly IHN). The 75-voice choir is one of America's finest a cappella choirs and will perform folk songs, spirituals and hymns.  Please come and support Family Promise, a program that supports homeless children and their families.

God Bless,

A Word from Rev. Aaron
Friends, I am looking forward to sharing with you tomorrow night at our 6:35 service in the chapel as we continue our Lenten series, 24 Hours That Changed The World - we will be praying with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. I am equally excited about this coming Sunday when my better half, Lenora, will be sharing with all of us about the deep connection between the traditional Jewish Passover meal and the Last Supper. You won't want to miss it. Have a blessed week everyone!

Faith Mission

Faith Mission, located at 3701 NE 15th Street, is a church and neighborhood outreach collaboration. Community collaboration is hard work (which is one reason why it's not very common)! It requires patience, commitment, perseverance, humility, energy, communication, common goals, ... The list is long, but the #1 thing community collaboration requires is prayer.

Rev. Esther is helping Faith Mission organize a prayer team - a group that will lift up the leadership, volunteers, churches, and neighborhood with the Spirit who "sets our hearts on fire, fills us with desire to love, and calls us to serve one another." Would you like to serve the Faith Mission ministry by being a part of this prayer team? Please do contact Rev. Esther if you are interested and would like to learn more.
