The 2nd Annual RPS APRIL BREAK
Scavenger Hunt is on!

Back by popular demand... our April Break Scavenger Hunt! Are you staying in town over April break this year and looking to add a little excitement to the mix? Well, we may have just what you are looking for!

Beginning April 14 and ending April 20 take on our scavenger hunt challenge. We have created a list of places to visit during the break and you are sure to have fun finding these spots around town.

At each location we ask that you find the sign with our logo on it, take a photo of you standing next to it. Then post the photos on our Facebook page, email them to info@rockpaperscissorsdux.com or drop the photos off at our store. Be sure to give us your name and phone number with each photo.

If you send us a picture from six different locations, you are entered to win some seriously fun prizes. The deadline to submit all 6 photos is April 20. Winners will be drawn randomly and announced on Monday, April 22

Please visit our website for more details.

Developing

Language Skills

Through Everyday Play

Rock Paper Scissors Toy Store, South Shore Therapies and the Duxbury Free Library are teaming up to bring you this very special Parents Night Out Event.

Everyday play opens the doors to amazing language skills!  From vocabulary to sentence structure and creative language, children learn about speech through play. What a treat to have Speech Therapist, Abby Lynch from South Shore Therapies to talk about developing language skills through play!  She'll talk about emerging language skills through school years.  Even more fun, the presentation will be interactive and hands on using actual toys. Grown ups only for this event please.

Abby Lynch MS, CCC-SLP has multiple years of experience working with children with a variety of developmental disorders as well as general speech and language disorders. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio and her master's degree from Rush University in Chicago. She is trained in the implementation of the six phases of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). She has received clinical mentorship and supervision by a board recognized specialist in fluency disorders in the administration of the evidence-based Lidcombe Program for early childhood stuttering.

Registration is required and can be done by calling Rock Paper Scissors at 781.452.7376. This event is co-sponsored by Rock Paper Scissors Toy Store, South Shore Therapies and the Duxbury Free Library!
