 Second Annual Pastor's Breakfast Held October 2

 

United Methodist Church ministers and youth ministers from the Eastern and Western Conferences of The United Methodist Church, along with local pastors of various denominations, were invited to North Carolina Wesleyan College's second annual Pastors Breakfast on October 2. The event was held at Wesleyan's Dunn Center for the Performing Arts. Some 30 church leaders and Wesleyan administrative staff and students 
enjoyed fellowship from 9-11 a.m. and heard keynote speaker Dr. Dennis M. Campbell, former Dean of the Divinity School and Professor of Theology at Duke University from 1982 until 1997.

Wesleyan Business Administration Seniors Rank Among Best in Nation in Business Simulation Competition
The results are in-and they show that two teams of Wesleyan senior business administration students who graduated last May ranked among America's highest performers in a nationwide eight-week business decision-making computer simulation competition.

In addition, following the team competition, individual students took a competitive decision-making exam and once again distinguished themselves. May graduates Danika Brown, Michael (Chuck) Fields, William King, and Michael Stephens scored among the highest in the nation in the individual competition.

Greg Fishel, Chief WRAL-TV Meteorologist, Speaks November 16 - Free to Public
Greg Fishel, chief meteorologist at WRAL-TV, will be the keynote speaker at an "O-FISHEL" event at the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, November 16, at 7 p.m.  The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. A question and answer session and a meet-and-greet opportunity will follow the event.

Class of 1964 50th Reunion

The Class of 1964 will be the first class in the school's history to celebrate their 50th reunion! The special events for these alumni will take place during Homecoming weekend, October 24-25.
