 Faculty and Staff of the month announced

 NC Wesleyan's Student Government Association (SGA) has begun a new practice of naming one faculty member and one staff member as Faculty and Staff of the month. November's winners are Dr. Meir Magal (pictures left - exercise science) and Ian Boucher ( pictured right - library).

President Jim Gray to Retire     

North Carolina Wesleyan College President James A. Gray III announced in October that he will retire as full-time president of the college at the end of the academic year in May. He will continue to work part-time during the 2014-15 academic year to help Wesleyan and the City of Rocky Mount move forward on three major initiatives that are currently under way. Wesleyan's ASPIRE Adult Degree Program Growing 

After the most recent partnering with Brunswick Community College, NC Wesleyan's adult degree program (ASPIRE) now offers classes at nine area locations: Rocky Mount, Raleigh-Durham, Goldsboro, Wilmington, Greenville, Brunswick, Whiteville, Manteo, and Washington. These programs are geared towards working adults.

Student & Alumni Networking Event 2014
On Wednesday, February 20 the Alumni Office is partnering with the Office of Internship & Career Services to host the third annual Student and Alumni Networking Event (SANE)!

This event is aimed at getting students connected with alumni to get professional and career advice, in addition to getting networking experience.

We will host all alumni participants for lunch from 11:30 - 12:30 and SANE will be held from 1:00 - 3:00.
