Romans 14:1-5 "Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person's faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. 5 One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind."
In this text Paul presents a clear picture of the diversity of the Church and Christ's power to bring together in unity, people who are vastly different. It is Satan who works on our unredeemed flesh to bring in confusion and disturb the peace. We see here two groups, the mature and the immature, or the strong and the weak. Paul addresses the conflict that has arisen between the two groups. The strong hold the weak in contempt as legalistic and self-righteous, while the weak judge the strong as irresponsible and possibly even depraved! But in reality, neither group has the right to judge, or condemn the other. In verse 4 he gets to the heart of his argument. Each of us is accountable to God! It is not our opinion of each other that really matters, we do not and in fact cannot hold each other up. It is God who causes both to stand. It is how Christ evaluates each believer that matters. His judgments do not consider religious traditions or personal preferences that matter so much to men. Each believer must follow his own conscience when it comes to things not specifically commanded or prohibited in Scripture. Conscience is a God-given mechanism that warn us and calls us to respond to the highest moral law in the mind. Don't train yourself to ignore it. Whether weak or strong, the motive behind a believer's decisions must be first and foremost to please the Lord!

Prayer Matters
Lisa Ivy
Director, VLM Prayer Network
We are experiencing God's power and presence through prayer like never before. Just this week we have received tremendous praise reports of God's healing, providing and making ways for those who call on His Name!
What is an intercessor? Webster defines an intercessor as: - interceding: the action of pleading on somebody's behalf -attempt to resolve conflict: the action of attempting to settle a dispute- prayer or petition: a prayer to God, on behalf of somebody or something. Simply put an intercessor is a person who goes before God in prayer on behalf of another person, situation or circumstance. Are you an intercessor? If so, we would love to have you join the Victorious Life Ministries Intercessory Prayer team as we go to God daily on behalf of others. If interested, email us at victoriousmin@att.net

Hello All,Although this is principally a health column, I would be remiss if I did not take thus opportunity to make you aware of a splendid recent testimony.Did you happen to watch the Super Bowl last weekend? If so, hopefully you tuned in for the subsequent interviews with quarterback Russell Wilson who repeatedly gave all of the glory to God -"It's a true, true blessing. ""God is so good.""God's given me so much talent..."At the age of only 25, Wilson realizes that Christ is the source of all of his strength and blessings. Whether or not you are a Seahawks fan or even watch football at all, please join me in prayer today that this young man will have many more victories for Christ in his lifetime ! Health TipWheatgrass is a food made from the cotyledons of the common wheat plant, but contains no gluten. For more than 5000 years, it has been prized by civilizations for its positive effect in health and vitality. It's benefits are numerous.Wheatgrass is my favorite and most trusted food supplement. It gives me a natural energy boost and promotes mental clarity. I generally recommend 7-20 "Pines Wheat Grass" tablets daily with water. Not all wheatgrass products are made the same, which is why I have specified "Pines " brand which is among the best available. You can purchase this at your local health food store or at Amazon.com.Here are 2 links with much more information on wheatgrass -http://www.wheatgrass.com/
