faye's words to live by
"By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible." Hebrews 11:3
The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States provides the following rights to each American:
Freedom of Religion (The Establishment Clause and The Free Exercise Clause)
Freedom of Speech
Freedom of the Press
Freedom of Assembly; and
Right to Petition the Government
This amendment tells us that we are legally free to speak. The Bible tells us that words have creative power. So the issue is not that we can speak, but what should we speak in view of the fact that what we say has consequences to both us and others. A couple of days ago as I was thinking about words and their impact, the Lord spoke this to me; words create environment, emotion and expectation:
- Environment - the surrounding or conditions in which you live.
- Emotion - state of mind derived from your circumstances, mood or relationships with others
- Expectation - a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future.
You are legally free to speak, but are your words setting you free or putting you in bondage? Are you frustrated by the conditions in your life? Are you feeling discouraged and defeated? Are you anticipating trouble and challenges? Change what you say and you can change your life.
" For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." Mark 11:23.
When we make doing the will of God the priority of our lives, we develop the mind of Christ. When we learn to say what He says we can have whatever we say!

We still need your help for our Sister who is in financial distress. If you have not been with us for the last couple of weeks, we are asking for donations to help ensure that a Woman of God does not lose her home. There were circumstances beyond her control that have caused her to be in a precarious situation. This woman has served the Body of Christ for years and we are now rallying around her in her time of trouble. Will you make a one time donation of a minimum of $20.00 to help us help her. You may make your donation by check made payable to Victorious Life Ministries and mail to P.O. Box 354074, Palm Coast, FL. 32135 or via our secure PayPal Account on our website.
This week a big thanks for their donations goes to:
Ms. Elaine Camper - Wilmington, De.
Ms. Erica Samuels - Philadelphia, PA.
We really need more of you to give. At the end of the month we will give you a total of what we was collected. A check will be distributed to her at that time.

Live A Happier Life
I have this great book entitled 365 ways to be happy by Meera Lester. Periodically we will share some thoughts from this book that can help us feel better in our lives. Today's suggestion is:
Change One of Your Faults - Everyone has faults, but that doesn't mea you are stuck with yours. Pick one you would like to change or eliminate. Take time to do a little self-examination with complete honesty. Do you frequently gossip? Do you have a quick temper or a short fuse? Do you procrastinate and avoid facing problems until they snowball out of control? Or, are you still blaming others for the things that are wrong with your life? Choose to fix what you don't like about yourself . See goodness in yourself and others. Allow your inner strength and joy to be at the heart of who you are.
