A prepared homebuyer is a happy homebuyer!

Fact: Homebuyers armed with the right tools make smarter purchases.

We strive to best prepare your clients for a successful transition from homebuyer to homeowner. One of our most useful tools are our homebuyer education classes -- offered in-person and online.

Rhode Island Housing's homebuyer education instructors and partners offer the latest information on the homebuying market, tips to improve credit and home maintenance advice. In addition, our in-person classes are offered across the state for easy accessibility. View Rhode Island Housing's homebuyer education class schedule here.

We also know the daily schedule of the average Rhode Islander is not always so accommodating, which is why we offer online homebuyer education classes through eHomeAmerica. Classes are available in English or Spanish.

We encourage homebuyers to carefully select a home they can afford because we want our customers to remain self-sufficient, proud homeowners well into the future. We also suggest consultations with a Participating Lender or Rhode Island Housing mortgage specialist
