Elder in the spotlight

Meet Gloria!

We are looking for a Visiting Volunteer for our elder friend Gloria:

Gloria is an 84 year old woman living alone in a condo in Uptown. She is divorced and has one daughter who lives in St. Paul; they get together every other weekend. Gloria has a love of theater, art, jewelry making, reading, good conversation and classical music. She enjoys going on walks around Lake Calhoun, which is one reason she is especially lonely and feels "cooped up" during the winter months. She would love someone to help her get out of the house to do errands, go to the theater, or walk around the mall.

Our Visiting Volunteers help fulfill our mission by providing regular, consistent visits throughout each month. If you or somebody you know is interested in visiting Gloria or other elders like her, please contact Josh Windham at jwindham@littlebrothersmn.org or 612.746.0732.

Volunteer Opportunities:
November and December

To sign up for these opportunities, please contact Josh Windham at jwindham@littlebrothersmn.org or 612.746.0732, unless otherwise noted.
