for the Gwinnett Life Run

Calling all runners
and joggers and walkers!

The run is March 19th at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds (off Sugarloaf Pkwy). We had many Craig students participate last year and would love to see even more students and families this year!  It's a fun family event to get you moving on a Saturday morning! It's not just for students; parents and friends can register on our team as well. You can walk, jog or run...whatever your pace!  There are medals for male and female winners at all age groups and lots of give-aways and raffles. Craig receives $5 for each registered participant after the first 10. The link to register is listed below.

When you register be sure to sign up for our team -  Craig Elementary.

All the details are on the Gwinnett Life Run website!  Looking forward to seeing you there!

Gwinnett County Comprehensive Transportation Plan

What's a CTP? A Comprehensive Transportation Plan, or CTP, serves as a roadmap for how a community would like their transportation network to develop to serve their current and future needs.

Why do we need to update the CTP? To ensure a great quality of life, it is important to understand existing transportation needs and to create projects and policies to address them. A plan update enables the County to reflect on progress made since the last plan and to develop a framework for future growth.

How can I help? Get involved in the planning process-come to a meeting, take our survey, and visit our website!

We had 145 walkers on Georgia Walk to School Day!  It was a bit windy and chilly, but many students still put on those walking shoes!
Zaxby's Night

Zaxby's Night is Tuesday, March 15th. Visit Sugarloaf Pkway Zaxby's for dinner! Be sure to mention you're from Craig and your teacher's name.  Class with the most participation wins a Zaxby's party tray at school!

Morning Car Rider Drop Off

Craig's morning car rider drop off is in the back of the building.  There are staff members out there until 8:10am to monitor students' safety. Please be sure students exit car on sidewalk and do not walk in front of cars.  After 8:10am you may bring your child to the front of the school, park in a parking spot and walk them in.  If the bell has rung, you will need to sign them in as well.  The exception is for students who arrive early to school for March Madness, Club Ex or other morning activities that start before the bell rings.  These students may be dropped off in the front of the school.  This procedure is in the Craig Student Handbook and is designed for the safety of our students. Thanks for helping us!
