Bingo Night

A Craig family favorite - PTA Bingo Night is Friday, February 26th! Lots of prizes, fun, food and concessions! Tickets will be on sale from Feb. 15th - 19th. Volunteers for setting up, cleaning up or working a half hour shift are also needed. Ticket order forms will go home with students Friday, Feb 12th or you can click here. This is a popular event so tickets are first come, first served. See you there!

Brunch 'N Learn

Understanding Your Child's Milestones Score

The PTA will host a Brunch 'n Learn on Friday, February 19 from 8:30-9:30am in the Media Center. All parents are invited to attend. Our principal, Angie Wright, will share the GA Department of Education's A Parent's Guide to the Individual Student Report for End-of Grade Assessments.

Calling all bakers!

Hospitality Committee....WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

Let's keep the tradition alive and show the Craig staff how much we appreciate them!

WHY: The end of the year Staff Appreciation Luncheon

WHEN: Monday, March 14th

WHO: Hosted by the Craig PTA Hospitality Committee

WHAT: We need parents help with desserts and drinks

HOW: Send in any homemade dessert item or one from your favorite bakery OR send in cases of soda or water

WHERE: You can send in with your child that morning to the library OR parent/child may drop off in the front lobby BEFORE 10:00am

Please clearly label all items"NUTS" or "NUT FREE" - this includes nut extracts and oils as we have staff with nut allergies!

Camp Invention

at Craig in June!

Rising 1st - 6th graders can register for Camp Invention which will be held at Craig this summer from June 6 - 9. Build a solar powered cricket, discover the science of slime and squid, take apart machines, design an eco-adventure park, and think on your feet in high energy games! Wittzle Pro Club

Calling all 4th and 5th graders who love math... this club is for you! We will meet Friday mornings before school from 7:45- 8:15a.m. in the Media Center.

Witzzle Pro is a thinking game that uses dice, a Wittzle Pro card and multiple math operations to find a target number.

There will be an opportunity for students with regular club attendance to compete with other schools in our cluster on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Gwin Oaks Elementary.

Principal for the Day!

Fifth grader, Grace Wilson, spent the day with our principal, Angie Wright. She learned the ins and outs of being a principal.

Craig's Principal for a Day is an auction item each year with the Brookwood Schools Foundation. It's a great opportunity for a student to explore a career field and a great way to support our Brookwood Community of schools!

Our next Box Top turn in date is February 23.

Send in box tops to your child's teacher. Our school gets money for these! The classrooms collecting the most box tops will receive money for a party and classroom supplies! Thanks for your support!
