Craig Dogwood Pizza Night is Tuesday, January 12th

Call 770-985-5111

Order delicious pizzas, hoagies, strombolis, wings and salads for pick up or delivery or you can dine in! Tell them you're from Craig and let them know your child's teacher's name.  The class with the most participation wins a pizza party.  

December's winners were Mrs. Clifton's kindergarten class and Mrs. Locke's 2nd grade class!

the last day to order a yearbook tribute ad is Monday, 
January 11th!!!

This has been extended from the original date of December 31st.  Time is running out!  If you would like to order a 5th grade tribute for your child in the Craig yearbook, please view the flyer here: 5th grade tributes.  It gives you step by step directions for ordering a tribute online from our yearbook company.

Think you might be interested in being on a PTA committee next year or holding a PTA officer position? Please join us on Friday, February 5th at 9:30am for donuts and juice. Come find out more about volunteer opportunities and meet the other PTA officers and committee chairs. PTA is a great way to get involved at Craig!

Lost and Found

Is your child missing a hoodie, jacket or winter coat?  We have MANY items in our Lost and Found.  Lots of BHS spiritwear and plenty of name brand items too! Mrs. Franklin has it neatly folded and organized on tables outside of the cafeteria.  Please have your child look or stop by yourself and look for missing items.  It will stay on display for one week, then will be donated to charity.  Take a look now while it's easy to find!  There are plenty of cold days still ahead, why buy another when you can find the one you lost!
 
Brookwood High School's Cheerleader for a Day!

When: January 22, 2016
Drop Off: Brookwood Commons 5:30PM 
Pick Up:  After 4th quarter change of Varsity Boys' game (around 9 PM)
Cost: $20
What: Students K-8th grade get a chance to cheer on the sidelines for Varsity Boys (starts at 7:30 PM)

Cheerleaders will receive a certificate for participating and dinner. Bring money and copy of insurance day of event. Checks made to BHS. 

Attire: Wear maroon shirt (Brookwood spirit)

Because of your generous donations, you helped put smiles on the faces of 125 boys and girls for Christmas! How cool is that! Once again, you have shown our community that Colts Care!" 
 
RFL Dollar Days


What are the RFL Dollar Days?  Relay for Life is a fundraising event of the American Cancer Society to further cancer research and find a cure for the life-threatening disease.  Here at Craig we do a variety of activities to raise money for Relay for Life. This year we have a new event called "Dollar Days." It will be held the week of January 25 - 29.  Each day students can bring $1 to participate in the day's event if they'd like.  Here are the week's events:

Monday - Jan 25 - BOGO beads (get 2 strands of beads for $1 - beads will be sold all week until they run out)
Tuesday - Jan 26 - Hat Day (wear your favorite hat for $1)
Wednesday - Jan 27 - Jersey Day/Sport Day (wear your favorite team jersey or sport shirt for $1)
Thursday - Jan 28 - Twin Day (dress like a friend for $1)
Friday - Jan 29 - Schoolwide Purple out (everyone wears purple for $1)

Once again, we have the chance to show that Craig cares!

Brookwood Schools Foundation

The 2015-2016 Brookwood Schools Foundation auction is now open. The auction will run from October 5, 2015 to April 15, 2016, with proceeds going to Brookwood Schools Foundation in order to support our schools in the Brookwood cluster. Tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
