We hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving.  And we have so much to be thankful for! This week we celebrate the incredible achievements of our middle school debaters. Over 300 students attended our Middle School Debate Conference #2! A fantastic video about the public forum debate tournament produced by Alisa Selman, click here! Over the next two weeks we will have four different debate tournaments at The Anderson and Computer School, Berkeley Carroll, the Institute for Collaborative Education, and Ridge High School.  Several of our debate teams were featured in the New York Times!  Several of our high school debaters will have an upcoming debate with the New York Times as well!  We have partnered up with Intelligence Squared for adult and student debates on their monthly topics and over 40 of our students and teachers are invited to their debates each month featuring the top subject experts from across the world!  Bank of America and Beveridge and Diamond will be hosting Debate Nights for our public forum debaters next month!  And the list goes on and on! Thank you everyone for your support to provide the most rigorous academic opportunities for our students!

And we need your help!  Our goal is to bring debate to 10 new schools by the end of the month.  So please don't forget to vote for the NYCUDL at https://givkwik.com/nyc, and you can also support our campaign to bring academic debate to 10 new schools this month by clicking here!  Finally, we always need judges at our tournaments.
