The title of this Conference which is the Third Luminous Mystery of the Rosary is "The Proclamation of the Kingdom" and what a better place to share the Good News of Our Lord Jesus Christ than from the seat of our government, Washington, D.C.! We could not think of a better place to promote the Church's clarion call to the New Evangelization.
There will be many new features for this Conference and we think you will enjoy them. We, the Central Service Team, have put much prayer and discernment into the new format. You will understand the ministry like never before. You will be directly impacted by the International flavor of our ministry and the way it has been growing. Pope Francis has designated 2015 as "The Year of Consecrated Life" and we have embraced his decision by inviting two, very active, consecrated Magnificat women to give their shared testimony at the Saturday evening meal. We will also have Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, Papal Nuncio to the United States, address us that evening. How blessed are we!
We will also be blessed to have the anointed Living Praise Worship Team with us again. The Friday night "Praise and Worship Around the World" segment will highlight the international flavor of Magnificat featuring our European, Hispanic and Caribbean sisters. Another new feature of the conference will be our Magnificat women speaking about how Magnificat has impacted their lives and their ministries. We will have interactive workshops to learn new skills, gain confidence, and ask questions pertinent to your Chapter.
The Mass and profession of our annual Consecration to the Blessed Mother will be held at the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, including lunch at the restaurant in the Basilica. Later, we will have a candlelight Eucharistic Healing Service in the Crypt Church of the Basilica. Our closing Mass will be celebrated at the St. John Paul II Shrine which will be open just for Magnificat that day. Providentially, this just happens to be the Sunday of the 1st anniversary of St. John Paul II's canonization!
Plan to come early and stay late with optional Pre and Post Tours of the many different National Landmarks and the breathtaking Franciscan Monastery.
This Conference will be an experience of a lifetime shared with your Magnificat sisters, Spiritual
Advisors, family and friends from around the world! We love you and can't wait to share the excitement with you. Sign up early to secure your spot! The deadline to register and make a $200 deposit is November 21, 2014, the Feast of the Presentation of Mary.
