That's what I thought about when I stopped by the court room
on the first day of the Kerrick trial.

Jonathan - a 24 year old former Florida A&M University football player,
an aspiring engineer, engaged to a beautiful woman.

What if Officer Kerrick were my son?
Officer Randall Kerrick - a 28 year old father of a toddler, married to his high school sweetheart, responding to a panicked call from a mother about a break in and now charged with voluntary manslaughter for using excessive force that led to Jonathan's death.

Coming Up: Show Your Pride

TBE will be celebrating Charlotte Pride by participating in several events. These events will be used to highlight our communal and continuous efforts to adhere to Judaism's central teachings of compassion and righteousness. In Case You Missed It: The People Have Spoken 

The people have spoken and they have said that TBE's Jered "The Food Dude" Mond's chicken soup is the best. Jered won the Charlotte Jewish Film Festival's People's Choice Award for his entry in the Chicken Soup competition. His win was featured in the Charlotte Observer
