First Night Passover Exchange:  Do you have room for extra guests this Passover?  We need host families to share the holiday with other TBE families, local college students, and out-of-town visitors from other Reform congregations. Please let us know if you have room at your seder table by calling 704-366-1948.
Our Condolences

Roslyn Helen Levine, mother of Sharon Richter, died on March 14.  The funeral was on March 17.  The family will be gathering for shiva at the Richter home (10522 Elrod Lane, Charlotte) on March 22 (12:00-5:00pm) and March 23-24 (7:00-9:00 pm with minyan at 7:30 pm).

 

Iancu Sorell, brother of Vali Sorell, on March 14th. There will be a memorial service out of town at a later date.


Meyera Oberndorf, mother of Marcie Kelso, on Friday, March 13th. A public memorial service was held on Monday, March 16th at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
 

 NFTY-SAR Spring Kallah - We Need your Help and Homes!
April 24-26th

  

Spring Kallah 2015 will be hosted by our LIBERTY youth group, and we need volunteers to house these wonderful teens. You DO NOT need to provide beds, as each teen will bring a sleeping bag and pillow. You can house as many teens as you can transport safely. All housing is single gender. Host families will provide Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner, and late night snacks.

 Rabbi Judy to Speak at Salvation Army Fundraiser

Attend a fundraising event and luncheon on April 17, the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary's "Festival of Tables" at the Sheraton Hotel Ballroom. Get table decorating ideas from local designers, participate in a silent auction and hear from Rabbi Judy! Tickets are $40, and proceeds will fund programs for women and children.  Call 704-621-7187 for tickets and information.
