 Our Condolences
Elizabeth Klein, beloved wife of Walter Klein and founding member of Temple Beth El, mother of Temple members Robert Klein and Betsy Klein, and Richard and Katherine, grandmother of Temple member David Klein, and aunt of Temple member Avie Goodman, died Sunday, March 1st. The funeral was on Tuesday, March 3rd. Shiva minyan at Temple Beth El will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, March 5th.

Louise Goldstein, mother of Dianne Stegelmeyer, died on February 28. The funeral was in New York.

David Weiman, the son of Shimon and Racelle Weiman,  and Priya Parikh became engaged on February 22 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 Passover at TBE 

  

First Night Passover Exchange:  Do you have room for extra guests this Passover?  Would you like to be placed with a host family? If you are a Temple Beth El member, local college student or out-of-town visitor from another Reform congregation, please let us know if you'd like to share Passover with a TBE family by Friday, March 20th by calling 704-366-1948.  Check the TBE calendar for other Passover holiday events.
 NFTY-SAR Spring Kallah - We Need your Help and Homes!
April 24-26th

  

Spring Kallah 2015 will be hosted by our LIBERTY youth group, and we need volunteers to house these wonderful teens. You DO NOT need to provide beds, as each teen will bring a sleeping bag and pillow. You can house as many teens as you can transport safely. All housing is single gender. Host families will provide Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner, and late night snacks.

 Attic Sale

Start that spring cleaning now!  A pod will be delivered to Temple in mid-March to hold donated items for the annual attic sale (May 3-4).

 Donation Drive

Save the environment by donating clothes, shoes, handbags, towels, linens, and all textiles. We accept new & old, great condition or torn & stained (the latter will be repurposed or recycled). Donation bin is next to our upper parking lot.
