Mazel Tov to Sandra and James Friend on the birth of their grandson, Joshua Andrew Friend, on May 13, 2014. Proud parents are Robyn and Scott Friend. 

Sybil DiPaolo, mother of George DiPaolo, died on June 13th. The funeral will be out of town. There will be a shiva minyan at Temple Beth El on Sunday, June 22nd at 1pm. 

 

Rhea and Jacob Sahl, parents of Marla Emery, died on June 14th. The funeral services will be held out of town. There will be a shiva minyan at the Emery's house 15523 Donnington Drive, Charlotte on Sunday, June 22nd at 7pm. 

 

Temple member, Evelyn Goodman, mother of Carol Siegel, died on June 17th. There will be a Memorial Service at Temple Beth El on Wednesday, June 25th at 2pm.

 

Brenda Messing, mother of Lori Serna, died on June 18th. The funeral will be held in Florida.  

Update on Providence Road Construction:
     At 9:00 am today, all lanes of Providence Road are scheduled to be closed near McAlpine Creek. This closes the road between Old Providence Road on the north and the Rea-Alexander Road intersection on the south. The road will be closed through the weekend.
     Next week, it is likely that traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction until about June 27th.
