Mitzvah Day projects are filling up fast. Some projects are full or almost full!  The time to register and be a Mitzvah Maker is NOW!    Register Here.  RSVP deadline is Wednesday, May 14th. Show your pride in the efforts of your fellow TBE-ers by purchasing a Mitzvah Day tee shirt for $15.  Tee shirts are available in the Gift Shop.

Temple Attic Sale

June 15th - 18th

 

We are collecting clothes, furniture, children's items, household items and more.  

Please note:

  • Clothing - all donated clothing must be clean, free of rips, tears and stains, and neatly folded or on hangars.
  • If size is not clearly labeled, please attach note with size
  • Household items, electronics and tools must be in good working order
  • No broken, stained or damaged furniture 
  • Toys must be clean and in good working order

There are many volunteer opportunities available.  If you or someone you may know is interested in helping with the Attic Sale, please contact Alyson Kalik Here.

Interpreter needed

A member of the community would like to worship with us, however we need someone who signs and is willing to interpret at service periodically.  If you have this skill and are willing to help, please contact Candace Naliboff, Director of Congregational Engagement Here.

Mazel Tov to Amy and Steven Brantley on the birth of their son, Adam Wyatt Brantley, on Sunday, May 4, 2014.

Our Condolences

 

Susan Visnick, cousin of Amy Montoni, died April 30, 2014. The funeral will be in Boston.

 

Sarah Elizabeth Locklear Phillips, stepmother of Michael Phillips, died April 26, 2014. A graveside funeral will take place on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Lumberton, NC.

 

George Krohn, father of Peggy Wilkoff, died May 2, 2014. The funeral is out of town.

Celebrate Temple Beth El Teens: Past, Present, and Future

Community Shabbat Service Followed by a Festive Oneg

Friday, May 16, 2014

7:00 pm

 

Join us for this special and memorable Shabbat celebration of our teens.  Our clergy will be joined on the bima by TBE Song Leaders, Teen Band, and Teen Vocal Ensemble members past and present. Reflections on our madrichim program will be shared through jewTuBE videos as we share our successes and our commitment to building up our Steven Gainsboro Teen Educator Fund and our new Madrichim Endowment for the future.  Click Here to show your support and made a donation in honor of our amazing teens.

during our 7:00 pm Shabbat worship service

As we honor our Temple Beth El Teens and graduating seniors on May 16th, we would love to have home-baked goodies for the festive Oneg.
