Volunteers Needed
Support TBE's Healthcare Team by signing up to do patient "check in" o r "check out" duties on a second Tuesday night of the month for 2.5 hours at Charlotte Community Health Clinic. You should like working with people and have computer skills to perform these tasks. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not necessary. 8th-12th grade annual day of service for Jewish Youth Throughout the world. Come join us as we volunteer at a community garden in NODA. Drop off and Pick Up at the Levine JCC Teen Lounge. Free, healthy lunch and snacks included. RSVP at the LJCC Customer Service Desk: 704-366-5007.

Ruth Neuwirth, mother of Zeev Neuwirth, died March 17, 2014. The funeral is in New Jersey on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

Jewish Community Night at the Bobcats - Monday March 24th
The Charlotte Bobcats are hosting a Jewish Community Night on Monday, March 24th. This Bobcats game is against the Houston Rockets, featuring Omri Casspi, the famous Israeli basketball player.
Some Highlights of the Event:
- We have been given Pregame VIP access to the arena, starting at 5pm, to watch the players' shootaround and some fun Jewish community engagement.
- Youth will receive cool basketball yarmulkes as a way of remembering this event- with an inscription on the inside.
- $2 from every ticket will be given back to JFS.
- Opportunity for our youth to be one
of 40 to high five the players as they take the court for the 2nd half.
