 Charlotte Civic Orchestra Concert Sunday February 23rd at 3:30 pm at Temple Beth El
Join the Charlotte Civic Orchestra in "A Symphony and a Movie" concert conducted by Dr. Geoffrey Whitehead. Selections will include the majestic Brahms Symphony No. 2, a silent movie comedy entitled "Never Weaken" with a new original musical score composed by Dean Kluesner. Also included in the performance will be beloved theme from the "Exodus" movie. Delightful family entertainment awaits you! Tickets prices are $15, $12 for seniors and students, and $35 for families and may be purchased at the door or visiting the website Here.

Every year the Temple Beth El Caring Community delivers Purim bags to our senior congregants age 75+. If you are interested in baking hamentashen, donating fruit or candy, or delivering the bags to 8-10 congregants during the March 10-15 timeframe, please volunteer. Contact Karen Greenblatt

Ray Fagin, mother of Matti Ordan Reider, died on February 12, 2014. The funeral was held Monday, February 17, 2014 in New York. There will be a shiva minyan on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 8 pm at the home of Matti Ordan Reider and Scott Reider, 3150 Foxmeade Dr, Weddington, 28104.

 Join us for a Family Fun Shabbat... Friday, March 7, 2014 Begin as a Shalom Park Community for a Mama Doni Concert from 4:30-6:00 pm at the Sam Lerner Center for Cultural Arts. Enjoy healthy snacks, appetizers, and funky music with a Jewish twist sponsored by The Charlotte Jewish Preschool, Temple Beth El, Temple Israel, the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte and the Levine Jewish Community Center. Continue on to Beth El for our Family Shabbat Service at 6:00 pm in our Blumenthal Sanctuary with an interactive and engaging service that is geared toward grade-school families.
