Youth Events & News
For the third straight year according to NFTY (North American Temple Youth), Temple Beth El had the most teen participants attend a regional convention, more than any other temple in the Southeast area (SAR), and we are not even the largest temple in the region! We also set a record by sending 47 TBE students to Fall Kallah in Atlanta and helped create a new youth record of 326 participants! Click Here for more.
Are you looking to give your child the best Jewish experience of their life this summer? Temple Beth El offers limited financial assistance to make it possible for families in our community to send their child to a Jewish camp program. Please email Dara Gever, Director of Youth Engagement, Here by 12/31 to apply.
This year, visit the Gift Shop for your Chanukah shopping! Fill out a wish list, or mention Temple Beth El Youth, and 10% of your sale will go towards our Youth fundraiser! |

Anshei Mitzvah
Adult B'nei Mitzvah
Anshei Mitzvah is an opportunity for those adults who have never had a Bar or Bat Mitzvah to participate in group study that will culminate in being called to the Torah. Classes will be taught by the clergy, Susan Jacobs, and master teacher, Barbara Feld.
The Anshei Mitzvah program will begin with learning to read Hebrew and continue with Torah and liturgy study that culminates with individual Torah assignments. Upon completion of the curriculum, participants will be called to Torah to celebrate with the congregation. If you are interested in beginning this meaningful journey, please contact Susan Jacobs Here. For more information on the Hebrew Classes and the Anshei Mitzvah dates, Click Here. |
