Bereavement Service - first Friday of the month from 5:30 to 6:00 pm.
Special Congregational Meeting
Monday June 24th at 7:00 pm
On Monday, June 24th at 7:00 pm, we will hold a special meeting of the congregation to present the revised bylaws for approval.  The meeting will be held in the Blumenthal Sanctuary.  Please see the attached letter Here.  See our amended and restated bylaws Here.

Torah Yoga at Temple Beth El

Prepare for Shabbat with your bodies, minds and souls. Fridays from 8 to 9 am, through July 26. Rabbi Judy, Rabbi Jonathan and Shelley Bear (RYT Certified Yoga instructor) will help us welcome Shabbat through Torah Yoga. There is a $12.00/class drop in fee. (There will be no class on 7/5)

Lake Norman Cruise  
(Queens Landing, 1459 River Highway, Mooresville, NC 28117).  Carpoolers leave TBE at 11:00 am. Boarding begins at 12:30; with departure at 1:00 pm. Cruise length: 1 1/2 hours. Lunch choices: turkey or chicken salad sandwiches, hot dogs or vegetable salad.

 TBE members: $17; Non-TBE members:$22 (Fees incl adm, lunch and tip) PLEASE SPECIFY YOUR LUNCH CHOICE WHEN YOU REGISTER! RSVP required by WED. JUNE 12th.

  Our New Fiscal Year Begins July 1st  

We are in the process of sending Sacred Gift renewal letters, and Religious School registration packets. If you have a balance on your account for your Sacred Gift or Religious School/Hebrew High fees, for this year (ending June 30th) you will not receive these packets. Please call Candace Naliboff, Director of Congregational Engagement at 704-749-3068 if you have concerns, or deal directly with our bookkeeper, Steve Rosenauer, if you would like to make these payments.

 

We want to be sure that everyone receives the Sacred Gift and Religious School information for our new year July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014.  Thanks!

Sunshine Psalms Get Together 
Be a part of the very first gathering of this study group on Friday, June 28th, 12pm to 1pm in the Temple Beth El Dale and Larry Polsky Beit Midrash. The group will meet on the 4th Friday of every month from 12pm to 1pm with a member of the clergy or Jewish educational leader to study Psalms of healing.
