Wednesdays April 10th, 17th & 24th Register for Temple Beth El University's spring session, "The Lies We Tell When We Pray: Moving Toward Honest Theology". This three week course will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on April 10, 17, and 24. Our clergy invite you to explore different ways in which our prayers accurately and inaccurately reflect our Jewish theologies. Through both formal and informal text study, the clergy will educate participants on the theological roots of sacred connections, sacred rituals and daily life and sacred giving. Why do we come to synagogue? Why do we celebrate the Jewish holidays? How does our liturgy support a theology of giving? Register HERE. |
