It's hard to believe but the new moon of the new Hebrew month of Kisleiv will appear tonight in the sky. As the daylight diminishes during this month, we will yearn for the light of our Chanukah menorahs to brighten our world beginning on the 25th of Kisleiv (corresponding to the 9th of December).

May we bring light to humanity not only with our Chanukah candles but through our actions of loving-kindness which is the theme of this month's Middah Guide.
