Tonight, PBS FRONTLINE is airing "Life and Death in Assisted Living."
I have not seen this documentary, so I cannot comment on it until I do.
What I can say is that assisted living plays an important role in our society and how we care for our elderly.
As someone who has referred dozens of individuals to assisted living facilities (I personally inspected each of them) I know that things can and do go wrong at many of these "communities."
I think it is important to keep an open mind so we can learn from this documentary.
