On-line pharmacies My husband's tries one out... It's illegal for people in the U.S. to import prescription medication into the country. But the law is generally not enforced when people buy 90-day supplies for personal use. My husband takes NEXIUM. Other acid reducers do not work for him. As of a few months ago, that little purpose pill cost $6.00 a piece. Get your calculators out. Yep. He was paying $180.00 a month or $2,160.00 a year. Now, over the past few months, that little son of a gun is almost $8.00 a pill or $2880.00 a year. We have a Blue Cross PPO. Of course, seeing that this is tantamount to an assault on our pocket books and a demonstration of greed of the highest order (people who don't control acid reflux are at risk for developing esophageal cancer) he decided to try his luck with an online Canadian pharmacy. This is his story. Click Here to read more

DANCING FOR THE MEMORIES
Susan B. Geffen's Alzheimer's Research Fundraiser
Saturday, September 14, 5 pm to 7 pm
The proof is here! According to a New England Journal of Medicine study, stimulating one's mind by dancing can ward off Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, much as physical exercise can keep the body fit.
What better way to raise funds for Alzheimer's research than dancing! Professional instructors from Dancing with the Stars will be on hand to teach you dance steps and a special performance will follow.
Open to all ages. $25.00 per person at the door. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association. Make a reservation by emailing Joel Geffen at joel@susanbgeffen.com. Please put "Dancing for the Memories" in the subject line. Location: You Can Dance Studio, 1089 Aviation Blvd, Hermosa Beach CA 90254
