One of my goals as ACPE President is to be inclusive of the various voices within our organization via the Presidential Newsletter. I have invited Wayne Menking, Southwest Regional Director, to write the following guest editorial as ACPE "Moves Together, Moves Ahead"


Our host hotel, the Sheraton Downtown Denver, is completely sold out. ACPE has set up an overflow hotel, Aloft Denver Downtown, located within walking distance of the host hotel. The conference rate is $179. Aloft has a limited number of rooms available so make your reservations today. Please check with the Sheraton Downtown for cancellations first. 

If you have a reservation at the Sheraton Downtown Denver, please confirm your dates and reservation with the hotel. If you have a reservation that you need to cancel, please call ACPE at (404) 320-1472 before cancelling your room.

If you are unable to walk from the Aloft to the Sheraton for health reasons please contact Terry Izaguirre.
The ACPE membership will vote on the following Bylaw Amendments at its Annual Member Meeting in Denver, CO on May 20, 2016.

To implement the International Relations Work Groups recommendations, the current International Affilate membership will be discontinued and replaced with three new categories: International Educator, International Peer, and International Partner. For more information...

In March, the trustees of the F.I.S.H Foundation approved a one-year $25,000 grant to expand ACPE's multi-faith curriculum offerings through the online ACPE Academy! This project will build upon ACPE'S current educational webinars around spiritual care for minority and marginalized populations, and is ACPE's first grant to develop a program.
