Sowing Seeds for Our Holy Work
Miriam NeedhamBy Miriam Needham, Annual Campaign Chair

Believe it or not, 2013 is drawing to a close.  By now you will have received a letter from Bill Scrivener and me asking you to donate to our 2013 ACPE Annual Campaign.  You may have heard or will be hearing from your regional Champion who will also be reminding you of this opportunity to support our Association of Clinical Pastoral Education.

By Lerrill J. White, ACPE Supervisor, BCC

On Friday afternoon, November 22, 2013, Judge Barbara Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin ruled that the law allowing the clergy housing allowance was unconstitutional.  While there are several sections in the Treasury Regulations, the Internal Revenue Code, & Congressional Law that address this particular issue, she focused on only one part of one section of the law located in Section 107 of the Internal Revenue Code.5-8, 2014
