Join the Pershing Girls Lacrosse coaches and players for this fun, instructional clinic on the basics of how to play girls lacrosse. Coaches will introduce the concepts of cradling, catching, tossing, ground balls, and simple game strategies using offensive and defensive maneuvers.

2015 Boys Beginner Lacrosse Camp

Open to boys entering grades 2-6
$25 (includes use of team equipment)

Join the Pershing Boys Lacrosse players and coaches as well as high school and former college players for a hands-on introduction to boys lacrosse. Your son will be introduced to the sport of lacrosse through various drills, activities and fun challenges. Current players from Pershing MS, Lamar HS, Bellaire HS, University of Houston as well as former college players from Maryland, Missouri, UConn and UH will be teaching the basics of lacrosse.

West University Softball Association
WU Softball Association

West University Softball Association (WUSA), the largest recreational girls' softball league in Texas, is proud to announce the opening of the fall ball softball season.  Fall Ball is WUSA's "off season" program. It is less structured than the spring season, and standings are not kept. Fall player registration is available online at wusa.org until August 31, 2015. The season will begin on September 6, 2015. Games will be played Sunday afternoons from September 12, 2015 to November 15, 2015. Fall Ball is for girls ages 6-14. All girls who register will be placed on a team. There is no tryout to participate.
