Come learn about two of our largest Extracurricular programs at Twain: Odyssey of the Mind and UIL.  NOW is the time to find out about these two programs, so that we can start next year off running!

Odyssey teams will explain a bit about the program. 

We will have:
  • Cardboard Arcade Games
  • Disassembly and deconstructing of cameras, cell phone, VCR, Flat Screen Monitor, wristwatch, speakers and more
  • Homemade Musical Instruments 

Got an old electronic device sitting in the garage that you've been meaning to dispose of?  Bring it, so that students can take it apart piece by piece . . . resulting in learning by all!  No re-assembly of devices will be done, so please be sure to know that it will be disposed of afterwards. 

 

Pizza and treats will be available for purchase!  


The average cost of sending an Odyssey team to the World Tournament is $12,000.  Therefore all proceeds from this event will assist Mark Twain teams who progress to the World competition in future years. 

There will also be information on UIL available.
