Dear Mark Twain Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that Dr. Barbara Rask, our beloved Violin Teacher of many years, passed away last night, May 1st at her home.  Barbara courageously battled her cancer with faith and hope.  She is survived by her husband Trent and son Alan.    

Details on a memorial service will be provided as soon as we are notified by the family.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that your hearts go out to the Lindale Church or the Mark Twain PTO.

Many of you have children that Barbara taught - if you need extra support for them, please let me know.  Ms. Prater, our School Counselor is available on Monday and Wednesdays to provide support.
