What's Happening Around School...
-Kudos Korner-
The members of the TEMS Science Olympiad team placed 6th in the regional competition at Neumann University yesterday.   The T/E team is coached by 7th grade teacher Sally Leathersich. They will be advancing to the statewide competition in April. Team members and alternates in attendance: Dhivya A., Shiva D., Kieran G., Tiffany H., Allison L., Nichole L., Jenny L., Angeline M., Elisa P.,Andrew W., Kevin W., Matthew X., Melinda X., Melissa X., Kevin Z., John L., Andy M., Hari R., Arjun A., and Aditi D..Andy M., Kevin W., Kieran G., Elisa P., Allison L., Matthew X, and Tiffany H. all earned medals in their events.  The entire team had great success and represented TEMS with pride!

The first check was due this past week on Mar 10th along with the the Release of Indemnity Form. All documents will be available on Ms. Wendy Wilson's website for printing and should be returned to Room 221.

-From the Nurse-
The season for colds and illness has arrived! To protect the health of our entire school community, please keep your child at home if they display the following symptoms:
-Fever
-Chills
-Vomiting or Diarrhea
-Constant coughing or excessive nasal discharge
-Sore throat accompanied by swollen glands
-Undiagnosed rash 
 
A child should remain at home 24 hours after symptoms subside. In addition, a child should be fever-free, without the aid of fever reducing medication.
Remember, if a child is sick, they should not go to other events such as sports, scouts, clubs and parties.
Perfect attendance is not as important as the health of your child and our school community!

The Lost and Found bin is once again overflowing! Please have your student stop by and see if there is anything of his or hers. All unclaimed items will be donated over spring break!

Thanks to all the students, parents, & volunteers who joined us for the 5th & 6th Grade Social.
It was an Awesome Day!!! It's always so great to see so many students enjoying a few hours with fellow schoolmates playing games in the arcade, riding go-karts, playing laser-tag etc. together. 
Thank you to the parents for bringing their children & friends out for the afternoon.
